It is well constructed. Heavy weight nylon webbing used throughout. I was really impressed with the quick length adjustment system. the prone/ supine leg exercises are surprisingly hard! Register your warranty online and you can download a free video that shows how to adjust the difficulty of several exercises.
I am not a paid reviewer so no extraordinary statements here. It is ring training. There are many options out there. The advantage of this system is the quick adjust ability, able to attach just about anywhere, and foot straps.

I purchased this because of all the favorable reviews, and have been waiting to write my review until after I used the system for several weeks. I bought the system as part of setting up a home gym. I have been regularly working out in the gym for several years, and don’t want to clutter up my house with tons of big equipment.
The Good:
Excellent easily adjustable workout
Easily transported
Solid quality
The bad:
(not really bad, but limitations)
I am near 50, and in, for my age, very good condition. While I can do all of the proposed exercises with the system. It is clear to me this is not a piece of equipment geared toward out of shape people or people with poor balance. Some of the upper body exercises, with both feet on the ground, can easily be used by less fit individuals or individuals with poor balance, and in fact, used to good effect. For them, this system would provide an excellent supplement to an easier workout.
Overall, I am really glad I purchased this, and use it 4 times a week, in conjunction with other equipment (mat work, pullup bar, cross country ski machine and exercise ball).
Understanding the limits, buy it – you won’t regret it.

I don’t usually write reviews, and goodness knows I’ve owned just about every exercise device known to mankind. However, this is an excellent piece of equipment and so PORTABLE you can take it anywhere. I recommend the home training kit because it comes with the door anchor, which most users will need, and a great selection of DVDs. I was also very pleased with the quality of the DVDs. They were not cheesy like a lot of fitness DVDs tend to be. I have never looked forward to exercising in my life until I got the TRX. It is so much fun. I will warn you that unless you are already in great shape expect to be sore for the first couple of weeks until your body adjusts. I worked muscles I didn’t even know I had. Another benefit to the system is it is so easy to use and easily adjusts to any level – beginner to advanced. I would give the TRX 10 stars if I could. If you are serious about getting in shape, I highly recommend it.

I bought the TRX in hopes that it would allow me to get some good exercise in. I have not had the product very long but what I see so far is.
The Good:
Quality of the product seems high
solid system
portable and easy storage
Design seem well thought out
Good customer service from the company. (Had a issue with a defective DVD, they called within a hour to resolve the issue)
Lots of videos online
The BADS:
Exercise manual included is tiny and weak. Showed like 12 exercises.
DVD was okay not stellar.
PRICE is high for what you get, but the product quality makes up for some of this.

Update, 4/12/2010:
Fitness Anywhere has just informed me that they are going to replace my broken TRX! Hooray! Originally they told me that I would have to purchase a new one, because I was outside of the warranty period. However, they recently asked me to send in pictures of my TRX, and when I did, they responded a couple of days later stating that my TRX did, in fact, appear to have a manufacturing defect, and that they would be sending a new one free of charge. Fitness Anywhere just won back a fan! Thanks guys!

Original review, 3/10/2010:
So in many ways, I love my TRX. The concept is great and it’s obviously well-executed, given how fast the company seems to be growing. There are almost a limitless number of exercises that can be done with the TRX, so it gets five stars for flexibility and portability.
Here’s my problem — I’ve had mine for about 2 years now, and the cam buckle just failed. I think that product that costs nearly $150, and consists of just canvas straps, a couple of buckles, and a couple of handles should hold up better than that. I mean, really? I weigh a mere 140 lbs, and I use mine, at most, 3x per week. There was a period of nearly a year where I didn’t use it AT ALL. That means it failed after, at most, 150 workout sessions. Bear in mind, too, that in any given workout, I probably only used the TRX for about 20 minutes — the rest of the time was spent with free weights.
I’m disappointed in the dependability of this product. I now have to spend ANOTHER $150 for a product that I already felt was somewhat overpriced to begin with. Bummer.
