- no need to screw into the doorway (although can screw in some reinforcing clips that come with the equipment)

- Fits wide doorways (some of the other non-screw-in-pull-up bars did not fit my doorways and I had to return)

- sturdy, I weigh around 195-200 lbs and I feel like the equipment is not going to fail/break

- many different grips

Cons:

- I thought it could have been a little easier to put together, but still only took about 20 minutes

- smells strongly gas when i took out of the box, but was no longer noticeable the next day

- slightly pricier than other non-screw-in-pull-up bars (but I thought overall worth the price)

Overall, I am happy with my purchase and I hope to continue using this piece of equipment for a long while

Simply stated….this is a great chin up bar. All 3 grip positions are comfortably located. Let me start by saying that this product works exactly the way I was hoping for. A quick 18 pull ups in the morning, 20 in the afternoon, and 30 in the evening…all wearing whatever I want!

It fits securely into all the doorways in my home, and leaves no marks on the door and feels very sturdy.

I was going to buy the Iron Gym Extreme Edition, but found that it would not fit my doors (glad I measured before I ordered). Luckily, I found this pull-up bar, as it was supposed to fit larger door frames and cost about the same. The reviews seemed good, so I gave it a shot.

After using it for a month, I could not be happier with it. It is a cinch to set up and take down. I don’t use the brackets included, but it still seems very sturdy. The flat area on the back is fine and I don't see any noticeable marks on the wall. Yes, some of the more gimmicky exercises rank right up there with using it as a grill for a compact pickup. Still, there's no simpler way to have pull-up capability at home. Portable? Yes. Does it come apart easily for compact transport? Don't even think about it. The beauty is it goes on quick, you work out, then put it away. Truly easy, effective and versatile since there are more grip locations than the single bar type. I even use the bends where there is no foam and it's no problem. I bought some fitness bands to keep my reps high and I just leave them on it and use them as I desire. Can't test the weight limit though, I'm less than a buck 50. The top 20 guide is a leaflet and my "kit" came with no tools. Didn't use the included brackets. The stupidest thing they did with this kit is provide you a "printed on both sides" piece of paper of 20 exercise pictures but NONE of them use the bar. The only exercise pictures using the bar are on the box which I am sure most people will throw away/recycle. Come on guys, sheesh. Still a great product.
