An eye pillow doesn’t seem like much, or to some it may even seem silly, but they are actually pretty cool. I never used one until my yoga teacher placed one gently upon my eyes during our last pose (Savasana or “Resting Pose”) in class. The soft scent was nice, not overpowering, and the light pressure it put on my face felt good. It also is very effective in blocking out light, and this helps you to completely relax.
From a more practical standpoint, my daughter uses my eyepillow when she is suffering from a migraine. I rub her forehead with peppermint lotion, and then place the eyepillow on her eyes. It doesn’t always chase the pain away completely, but it offers some relief.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this eye pillow better than expected. The “peachskin” fabric is soft against the skin and it’s the perfect size for covering your eyes. The slight heaviness is great for relaxing both at home and at yoga class. It forms to the shape of your face and completely blocks all light. The faint fragrance of lavender and peppermint is really refreshing, not at all perfume-y. I tried the eye pillow at home recently when I had a bad headache and found it to help relieve the pain. The product information states that you should avoid getting the pillow wet. As it is marketed for athletic use (yoga) where sweating is likely, it would have been nice to have a removable washable cover. This is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

I get frequent headaches/migraines, when I feel one coming on I lay down for a short nap with the hugger mugger eyebag over my eyes and I find it to be very soothing. The scent of the herbs is not overwhelming. It also helps when I can’t sleep, I put it on and within minutes I’m fast asleep

I love these eyebags! I only wish they had some type of velcro strap so I could use them when I am resting on my side. They slip off unless I am on my back.
