The cast of Bobby and Peter Farrelly’s 10th movie just keeps growing and growing. The latest actors to pick up a pass for the Farrelly Bros comedy are Christina Applegate, Alyssa Milano, and Vanessa Angel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The threesome join Amanda Bynes, Stephen Merchant, Jason Sudeikis, Jenna Fischer, Larry Campbell, J.B. Smoove, and Owen Wilson in the New Line production.
Hall Pass, with an estimated budget of $40 million, began filming last week. Production is expected to wrap up in April.
The romantic comedy written by the Farrellys has nothing to do with school and everything to do with extramarital affairs. In the film, two wives give their husbands ‘hall passes’ which allow the men freedom to have affairs. I’m guessing hilarity will then ensue as the men venture outside their marriages looking for sex.
In other news, the Farrellys are still attached as producers, writers, and directors of a Three Stooges movie. That film is expected to begin shooting later this year with Benicio Del Toro playing Moe and Sean Penn (who left and rejoined the project) playing Larry.
More than a year after she was diagnosed with breast cancer, Christina Applegate has a new outlook on life.
“Right away, you kind of go gung-ho — you don’t let any stress in your life, you don’t eat any crap, you do a total 180 from where you were,” she told UsMagazine.com at the EIF event benefiting the Women’s Cancer Research Fund in Beverly Hills on Wednesday. “You look at life a little bit differently.”
The Emmy-winning actress, 38 — who underwent a double mastectomy in August 2008 to prevent her breast cancer from returning — admitted that her perfect behavior didn’t last long.
“Then life happens and it eases up a little bit, but it’s always in the back of your mind that you get one shot at this,” she told Us. “So try to be as joyful and forgiving as you can, eat beautiful foods that come from the earth — not so much from other places.”
Her other tip? To laugh.
“I have to or else I’ll just cry all the time,” the star — who launched Right Action for Women to promote early detection of cancer through MRIs — said. “Laughter is so healing … I think that it frees up your body to heal, too. Humor has always gotten me through the toughest of times.”

Christina voices Brittany in Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, while Justin voices Alvin, but he is also reunited with on-again-off-again girlfriend Drew Barrymore in the new romcom, out next year, which also stars Christina.
She hinted: “I saw A LOT of Justin Long over the summer, I did – You’ll see the movie and you’ll know why I said that.”
The 38-year-old actress also revealed the movie, about a couple in a long distance relationship, is “very dirty”.
Christina said: “It’s called Going The Distance and it’s with Justin and Drew Barrymore and then a whole slew of really awesome people.
“It’s very dirty. It’s the polar opposite of Alvin And The Chipmunks. These people will not be able to go see that.”
The Anchorman star and Amy Poehler, who voices Eleanor in the Chipmunks Squeakquel, also joked about their best and worst Christmas presents.
Christina revealed: “A set of encyclopaedias when I was 18. I’m sorry Marm, you’ll never hear, encyclopaedias when I was 18.”
Amy, keen to impress a British audience, joked in a cockney accent: “My best present was bangers and mash and my worst present was, um… um a tight pair of knickers.”

Christina Applegate has reportedly insisted that she doesn’t care if she is a successful actress.
Applegate has said that her priorities have shifted and that her main focus is no longer her career, according to Contactmusic.
The 38-year-old said: “The things I pray for are a lot different than they used to be. I pray that I’ll find joy and happiness in whatever comes my way rather than being totally focused on getting the thing that will advance my career.
“It’s not that I’m less ambitious, it’s just that I used to feel that if my life wasn’t a certain way I wasn’t going to be happy. Then I shifted gears in my consciousness. I really accept the fact that my life is blessed and that it doesn’t matter if I’m successful in this business or something else.”
Applegate, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 and later announced that she was “100% clear” of the disease after having a double mastectomy, recently criticised new guidelines which suggest only older women should be screened for breast cancer.

A great way to start the new year, Christina Applegate says, is for women to get regularly scheduled mammograms – and hopefully not wait until 50 and over, like the latest recommendation from the U.S. government suggests.
The actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2008 and underwent a double mastectomy. Had Applegate followed the new guidelines back when she received treatment she might not have seen her 38th birthday.

Actresses, who voice Chipettes in new ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks,’ pick cutest character, suggest inappropriate songs for future films.
You’d be hard-pressed to find three more fun, bubbly, beautiful blondes than Anna Faris, Amy Poehler and Christina Applegate. This week, millions will go and see their new movie, but not actually see them. Or really hear them — at least not their God-given voices.
The ladies, who play the Chipettes in “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel,” say the film is a unique opportunity for an actor to infuse a character solely with personality, unencumbered by the usual limitations of voice and physicality. Such lofty thoughts, however, went right out the window when we recently sat down with Poehler and Applegate, two good friends who could barely contain their laughter long enough to give us their thoughts on the sexiest Chipmunk, their old-timey listening habits and why the Chipettes need to cover a dirty Prince song.
